I happen to go way back with the guy who runs techsanta.com, a site that lets you curate a list of items you’d like to get as gifts and see what your friends and family want too. As a personal project, I wanted to try my hand at creating an app access it, and I’m proud to say it’s been a fun and reasonably successful thing to work on.

I designed the layouts with Figma and Claude Design, then used Claude Code to build APIs to the existing data and create the app. It’s totally free to download and use, grab it from the app store of your choice and stop getting socks for gifts. Unless you ask for socks.
